Yes, we do travel to destinations for engagement sessions too! We spent a weekend in Savannah , GA at the beginning of August and shot Jill & Paul’s engagement session there. Savannah is beautiful old town and there were a thousand option to choose for a a photo shoot. On the day when we planned the session unfortunately was raining and we had to reschedule and do a morning session instead of the afternoon session but surprisingly the rain stopped after sunset, so we went out with Jill and Paul to shoot few pictures at the Historic Waterfront in the night which came alive after the rain stopped . We had luck and cached the riverboat as coming back to the dock all lighted up . After we did those shots what we had in desire went to eat some seafood. The River street is full with restaurants with with good food ‚outdoor seating and a great view to the river.
For the morning session we woke up early and headed to the Forsyth Park . Shot few pictures around the fountain and had a champagne picnic under those old trees with Spanish mass on them . Walked on the street found nice old buildings, cached the trolley and had fun with Paul & Jill.
They are live in NY and planning to have their wedding too in Savannah because it’s a gorgeous old town and while Paul went to school there he and Jill spent lots of time in that town.
